pondering abt my future again..

recently heard abt 2 poly students accepted into the NUS Yong Loo Lin Sch of Medicine.
It was the first time they have accepted poly students.
will it be me after my NS.

seriously, i've always wanted to take up a challenging career and at the same time, able to offer help to the others. being a vet seems tough for me, with the school fees piling up to about $175,000 for 5 yrs and tt excludes the living expenses.

however, Sch of Medicine not veri cheap also.. abt $17,000 per yr.. how would my family be able to support me. yes.. i understand that results are veri impt.. but my family is not financially capable of sending me overseas or to study a premium course in the local universities. but the first issue is will i be even accepted?

somehow it makes me envy those above average or pple from wealthy family. they do not need veri excellent results, jus average.. and they can go overseas to study, with nothing much to worry about. but for me.. so what if i do well. it's veri difficult also..

the irony here is
1. being smart n poor OR
2. being average and wealthy.

it's realli a contradicting situation here. for nw, i shall await for God's decision. he hasnt tell me anything yet. :)
